Randy Winn

President

Randy Winn is the founder and President of Medea Charitable Foundation. Randy played thirteen seasons in the Majors with Tampa Bay, Seattle, San Francisco, New York-AL and St. Louis.  In 1,717 games, Winn posted a .284 batting average with 863 runs, 367 doubles, 59 triples, 110 home runs, 662 RBI, and 215 stolen bases.  He represented the American League in the 2002 All-Star Game. In college, Winn played both basketball and baseball at Santa Clara University before being inducted into the West Coast Conference and Santa Clara Hall of Fame in 2016.

After playing 5 seasons with the San Francisco Giants, Winn moved into post playing role with the club as a Special Assistant to the GM.  In this role, he evaluated talent at both the Major and Minor League levels and provided input regarding potential player acquisitions and roster moves.  In the charity world, Randy has been a Board member of the SF Giants Community Fund (since 2021) and Baseball Assistance Team (BAT) since 2002 and served as President for 8 years. Currently, he works as an analyst for NBC Sports Bay Area.
